Alloy At Tech Hill
Alloy at Tech Hill is EOA’s first modular, pre-fabricated multi-family housing project. The development consists of 82 studio, one and two-bedroom condominium units within two connected four-story buildings.
Inspired by the industrial context of the site, EOA worked with the Owner, Core Development, to create an industrial vernacular to the exterior that plays well with its surroundings. The building exterior serves as a complex weave of solid and perforated metal siding with exposed steel stairs, steel walkways and pre-fabricated balconies wrapping the assembly of modular units. The modular units were entirely shop fabricated by Champion Builders in two factories in Pennsylvania and shipped to the site for erection and final installation. Building One is composed of single units connected by an exterior walkway system. Building Two is composed of one or two-bedroom units connected by an interior corridor. To achieve the mix of living unit variety we assembled a combination of two or three modular units to create a one or two-bedroom living unit.
