Originally from Mexico, Ana emigrated to the US at age thirteen. She spent her high school years in Middle Tennessee and studied architecture at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. During her time at UTK, Ana enjoyed photography, backpacking, and furniture building. She also came to love cooking intimate meals for close friends. In Knoxville, Ana worked in small architecture firms where she had the opportunity to grow as a designer and gain experience in all phases of design and construction. In 2017 Ana moved to Nashville and joined a local firm where she worked on and managed a wide variety of projects, including residential, high-end commercial spaces, adaptive reuse projects, and numerous K-12 schools. She is passionate about client relationships, thoughtful community-centered design, sustainable practices and mentoring. When she is not at work she is volunteering, hiking, or working on home-improvement projects.
