Kim earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Belmont University, where she focused on equitable, transit-oriented development and adaptive reuse. She’s passionate about using design as a tool for social responsibility, drawing on her experiences in both the creative and civic sectors. She’s also the founder of a songwriters festival that raises funds for children battling cancer and celebrates community through music and storytelling. Outside the studio, Kim is likely tending her vegetable garden, organizing community events, exploring new cities, or riding the bus just to see where it goes.
