Shelby Naval Commons

Shelby Park’s iconic naval building is soon to be known as the Shelby Naval Commons. Previously used as a Navy training facility, but since it's closing it has been left empty, covered in graffiti and surrounded by barbed wire fencing. "It really is set up in a beautiful way to be a community building, it’s like it has been waiting there for us to bring it back to life." Supporting the Friends of Shelby Park, EOA has been working to reimagine this historic building’s next chapter.
