Eagle View Elementary School

Eagle View Elementary is a new 99,600 square foot new construction school accommodating 800 students ranging from Pre-K to the 4th grade in the Cane Ridge Metro School cluster. The project achieved a LEED for Schools, Gold rating. The entry and exterior canopies are a great point of emphasis in the design which creates a welcoming face for the school as well as providing a open and inviting central lobby space. EOA created a playful and creative face for the new school with budget-conscious materials using striped, multi-colored, brick patterns highlighting selected areas. The design accent was achieved at a cost that fit the school’s budget.

The common areas of the school create more lively public space within the school using a colorful interior palette. Classrooms have been designed to promote a learning environment that keeps students focused. Larger common spaces have increased vertical height with playful suspended elements which captivate the imagination of the children.
