EOA’s Newest Licensed Architect!

A very big congratulations to newly licensed Michaila Crislip! Michaila successfully passed all of her architectural registration exams (A.R.E.) and is one of Tennessee's most recent licensed architects!

Michaila is very active in the Nashville community and in our design profession as an AIA Middle Tennessee Committee on Design member and Emerging Professionals (EP) former Building Tour Coordinator. She is also a member of the Nashville Civic Design Center.

Michaila earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture from Kent State University while studying at the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative. She brings a thoughtful, adventurous, and resourceful spirit, as well as experience in residential, commercial, multi-family, and retail design to EOA. Michaila grew up around design, with her father being an architect and her grandfather building houses. Michaila chose architecture to utilize her problem solving skills while also maintaining her creative side. She loves how architecture gives her the opportunity to have an impact on her community and the built environment. When she isn’t in the office, you can find Michaila reading, baking, practicing yoga, or hanging out with her cat Stevie.
